Anne M. Placido, 90 Of Broomall, PA Anne M. (nee Alfonsi) Placido died peacefully on October 22, 2012.Loving Mother, Nana and Sister. Wife of the late Pete A. Placido. Born in South Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Victor and Mary (nee Trofa) Alfonsi. Anne and her husband resided in Broomall where they maintained a home on Winding Way since 1956. She was a charter member of St. Pius X Parish. She cherished the many friendships that emanated from her association with the church.Most of all, she loved cooking meals for her family, baseball, card games with her lady friends and spoiling her four grandchildren. Family: Loving sons Peter A. Placido Jr. (Carole) and Michael R. Placido; grandchildren Michael V. Placido, Brian Placido, Amanda Placido and Bobby Placido; great-grandson Daniel Michael Placido; sisters Angela Holbrook and the late Catherine Yannelli.Pre-deceased by her son Robert and five brothers Ben, Joe, Fred, Victor and Henry. Also survived by Bernadette Placido and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass Friday October 26 at 11 AM St. Pius X Church, Broomall, PA Visitation: Family and friends may call in the church beforehand from 9:30 AM.
