Anne R. Sekel

Anne R. (nee Gonder) Sekel, 72 Anne R. (nee Gonder) Sekel, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 6, 2014 at Crozer Keystone Hospice. Born in Flushing, NY, she was a long time resident of Wallingford, Pa, before moving to Brookhaven, Pa, 14 years ago. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School, class of 1959. She worked part time for the Wallingford Nursing Home. She was a member of Nativity BVM Church, Media, Pa. Anne devoted her life to her loving husband, Jack, and to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed vacations to North Wildwood in her early years and later to Ocean City, NJ, with her son. She also enjoyed going to Dunkin Donuts with her sister, Pat. She was predeceased by her parents John and Matilda Gonder. Survivors: Her beloved husband of 52 years, John (Jack) Sekel; her children John T. Sekel (Andrea), Robert J. Sekel, Bethanne Daly (John), Maureen Donnelly (Thomas); her siblings John J. Gonder (Rochelle) and Patricia Connelly; her 13 grandchildren J.T., Nicole, Zach, Jacob, and Faith Sekel, Caroline, Emma, and Jake Daly, Tommy, Hope, Quincy, Pearl, and Georgia Donnelly. Funeral Mass: Will be held Thursday, 11a.m., Nativity BVM Parish, 30 E. Franklin St., Media, Pa, 19063. Visitation: Thursday, 10-11a.m., at the church. Interment: Will be private for the family.
