Anthony Esposito Obituary
Anthony R. "Tony" Esposito, 75, passed away on November 16, 2012 peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. He was son of the late Anthony and Alexandria "Santine" Corsi Esposito.
He was a graduate of Girard College in 1955 and Penn State University. He retired from Dupont where he was a Design Engineer for over 30 years, but continued working as a consultant until recently.
Living in Ridley Park his entire life, he was a member of The Church of St. Madeline and coached baseball for the Ridley Park Athletic Club. He loved to watch the Phillies and was a big fan of college basketball and football. He also enjoyed fishing. Tony was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to all.
Survivors: his wife of 56 years, Joan M. Batory Esposito, father of Alice Callahan (Pat) and Anthony Esposito. brother of Robert Esposito (Jean), grandfather of Patrick, Kelly and Christina Callahan, also nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral Mass: 10 AM Wednesday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park.
Visitation: after 9 AM Wednesday at the church.
Burial: Private
Memorial Gifts: to the Red Cross or an other charity that helps the needy.
