Artelio J. Curcio, 83 of Glen Mills, PA died on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Rose Court, Maris Grove in Glen Mills.
Born to the late Joseph and Viola Anania Curcio in Shamokin, PA, he resided the past 2 years in Glen Mills, PA, previously residing in Norwood, PA.
Mr. Curcio served in the Air Force during the
. He retired from Boeing Vertol after 33 years where he was a tooling and manufacturing engineer.
He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Masonic Lodge #578 in Prospect Park. He was also a member of the
Post 7213 in Norwood.
Mr. Curcio was active in scouting, enjoyed golfing and bowling.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Tony, Samuel and Fred Curcio.
Survivors: wife of 60 years, Myda Bivins Curcio, son, David (Mary) Curcio and daughter, Cynthia (James) Golden, sisters; Rose Feudale and Laura Mela, 5 grandchildren, James, April, Corrine, Alex and Rachel and 4 great grandchildren, Mason, Juliana, Ava and Benjamin.
Services: Thursday, 2 p.m. at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA with a Masonic Service at 1:50 p.m.
Visitation: 1:00-1:50 p.m. at the funeral home.
