Beatrice E. Price

The Rev. Dr. Beatrice E. Price (nee Brightbill), 92, formerly of Upper Darby PA. Died peacefully at Rosemont Presbyterian Village in Rosemont Pa on November 13, 2012.
Beatrice was the beloved daughter of the late Herbert and Edith Brightbill (nee Chipman) and wife of the late Edgar Price. Beatrice retired from the Philadelphia Public School district teaching literature and music, she also held Doctorates of three disciplines in Education, Music and Divinity.
She was also an adjunct professor of religion at Pennsylvania State University. Beatrice was a Missionary of South America and various other places. Beatrice also volunteered at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Beatrice enjoyed reading, watching the Phillies and her animals, but her passion was her music and helping others.
Beatrice is survived by her children Philip H. Price of Williamstown N.J and Barbara Stuckey of Rockville MD. Her grandchildren Tara, Philip Jr., Price and Lance Stuckey.
Her beloved friends, Marlene Annacone, Kathy and Bruce Hutchins and their families.
Family and friends are invited to Beatrice's Life Celebration on Tuesday November 20th from The Spencer T. Videon Funeral Home 400 Shadeland Ave. Drexel Hill PA 19026 calling hours will begin at 10am followed by a religious service beginning at 12pm.
