Edith Morris Obituary
Mrs. Morris previously resided in Chester County from 1983 to 2007, and prior to that in Springfield. She was a graduate of John Bartram high School. Mrs. Morris was employed as a key punch operator for 22 years by IRC then General Electric before retiring from Matlack Co. in 1976. She aslo worked for Deborah Heart & Lung as a fund raiser.
Mrs. Morris was the wife of the late Billy Wayne Morris whom she married in 1946 and who passed away in 1985. She was predeceased by her siblings John Morris and Esther Orpin.
Survivors: Her children, Wayne (Jill) Morris of Gilbertsville, Elaine (Daniel) Woerner of Atglen, and Dorothy (Barry) Hoyt of Springfield; her grandchildren, Eric and Lisa Wick; and her sister, Elsie Taylor.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Frank C. Videon Funeral Home, Sproul and Lawrence roads, Broomall.
Visitation: After 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment: Private.
Contributions: In lieu of flower, please send memorials in her name to the American Humane Society, 2100 L St., NW, Washington, D.C. 20037.
