Edith M. Reaney

Edith M. Reaney (nee Procopio), age 93 Edith M. Reaney (nee Procopio), age 93, of West Chester, and a former 58 year resident of Broomall, passed away on December 4, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Procopio (nee Paravatti). Edith was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School. She worked at the Quartermasters in South Philadelphia and the Civil Service with the U.S. Army in Georgia. She was a homemaker and also worked with the Matt Reaney Agency. She resided at Barclay Friends in West Chester at the time of her passing. Survivors: Her children Judith Baumeister (Fred), Mary McSorley (Joe), Matthew Reaney (Barbara), Joseph Reaney (Alice), Mark Reaney, Katherine Scharr, Therese "Nini" Reaney (Frank White), John Reaney (Kim), 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Matthew J. Reaney, her 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
