Frances F. Ambler

Frances F. Ambler, 82 Frances F. Ambler, 82, of Media, Pa. died April 7, at home. Fran graduated from Friends Central School and the University of Pennsylvania. She taught Home Economics for many years at Springton Lake Middle School and also coached girls field hockey and lacrosse. She was a member of The Rose Valley Folk, Twin Creek Gardeners, Willistown Friends Meeting and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Fran volunteered at Scott Arboretum and Friends Central. Survivors: Beloved wife of the late Henry Ambler, loving mother of Mary Anne Peters, Susan Ambler, and Judith Ambler, loving grandmother to Elizabeth Anne Peters, beloved sister of Nancy Donaldson, and Ellen Millick.
