Franklin M. Stricker Obituary
Franklin M. Stricker Retired Boeing Security Officer Franklin M. Stricker, age 92 of Lester, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2013 at the Warminster Masonic Home in Warminster. He was born in Philadelphia and was a lifelong resident of the Lester section of Tinicum Twp. Frank worked at Boeing Helicopters for 36 years, retiring in 1985. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army, and fought in World War II. Frank was a life member and past commander of the Essington VFW #4845, a life member of the Tinicum Twp. Fire Company, and a member of the Prospect Park Masonic Lodge #578. His family would like to thank the management and staff of the Sports Club in Woodlyn for their kindness toward him during his time as a member and employee. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (nee McDonald) Stricker, his daughters Janet Kenish and Sharon Stricker, and his brother Edward Stricker. Survivors: his son, Frank Stricker Jr. (Patti) of Aldan, daughter Joyce Robertson of Chester, sister Sandy Hiembach (Bob) of Ohio and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Service: Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Saturday after 9:00 a.m. at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood followed by his Service at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call at Cavanagh's Friday eve., 7-9p.m. with a Masonic service at 8 p.m. Interment: Greenmount Cemetery In lieu of flowers: Memorial contributions to the Warminster Masonic Home, 850 Norristown Rd., Warminster, PA 18974.
