Howard M. Gensel, Jr., age 91, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on September 6, 2012.

Born in Havertown, PA, Howard was a graduate of Haverford High School where he was a member of the Championship Football & Track teams.He was U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II.He was a Vice President at Transcontinental Airlines and also worked for Eastern Airlines.
He was a member American Legion Post 677 in Manoa, VFW in Broomall, Disabled
American Veterans and former Airlines Managers' Council of Philadelphia
International Airport.He was also a 30 year volunteer at the USO Club at the Philadelphia Airport.

Survivors: his sons Howard M., III and Douglas W., his daughter-in-law Julia J. Gensel (Mead) and his two grandsons Stephen H. Gensel and Christopher W. Gensel.
Predeceased: his beloved wife, Regina L. Gensel (Lynch), his son Stephen J.Gensel, daughter Donna R. Gensel and sister Flora Smith.
