Jane Campell Obituary
Jane was a longtime home economics teacher at Paxon Hollow Middle School. She was a member of Lima United Methodist Church and prior to moving out of Drexel Hill, Sellers Memorial Methodist Church. She enjoyed embroidery and knitting and would often donate the clothing she made to those in need. Jane was a kind, generous, charitable woman who will be missed by all who she touched.
A Life Celebration service for Jane will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at 10 a.m. in Granite Farms Estates Chapel, 1343 W. Baltimore Pike, Media, PA 19063.
Internment will follow at 12 p.m. in Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.

I can never measure a cup of flour or sew a seam without remembering Home Economics with Miss Campbell at Paxon Hollow. She had an amazing talent for embroidery and sewing. I hope that the embroidery pieces that were on display at Granite Farms have been left to someone who will appreciate how perfectly done they were.

Miss Cambell was my home ecs teacher the first year Paxon Hollow school opened. She is remembered by many,many students. Rest in peace Miss Cambell.

I believe Jane M. Campell was my home economics teacher both years I was at Paxon Hollow Junior High School (as it was then known). I am sorry to learn of her passing.
