Jean DeRosa Obituary

Jean Davis DeRosa, 56, of Media, died April 6, 2013.
A lifetime Delaware County resident, she was raised in Brookhaven and resided in Middletown Twp for 17 years. Mrs. DeRosa was a Sun Valley High School graduate and 29-year employee of Media Borough, where she worked at the Media Police Department as a police dispatcher. She was an avid reader, enjoyed taking trips and travel, liked playing the piano. She was known as a "talker" and she enjoyed conversations with friends and strangers. She loved her family and friends.
Survivors: Husband, Michael DeRosa; son, Jeremy Tillman; and daughter, Aimee Tillman
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at The Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St., Media. Visitation: Friends may call 8:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service
Burial: Calvary Cemetery Media.
Arrangements: Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St. Media.
Contributions: Made to Heartland Hospice would be appreciated.
