Jena M. Furlong Obituary
Jena Marie Furlong, 29, of Springfield passed away on October 16, 2013 surrounded by the unconditional love and support of her family and friends.
Jena's courageous battle with breast cancer has left an inspirational mark on many who knew and loved her; but her ability to encourage others has been ongoing throughout her life.
From an early age Jena carried around this vibrant sense of youth that immediately made you smile.
Her carefree energy and genuine kindness allowed people to naturally feel at ease in her presence.
Jena was guided by many roles throughout her life.
Loving daughter and granddaughter, maternal sister, beloved niece, loyal friend, student, professional, and breast cancer activist were just a few pieces of her.

After years of hard work her determination to find herself sparked the desire to go back to school and pursue a career in the field of nursing.
Jena lived a life full of vitality and true joy. She would be proud to know how much love and inspiration she has left behind.
