John C. Devine

John C. Devine, age 74 John C. Devine, age 74, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on May 25, 2013 at Broomall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Broomall, PA. Born in Drexel Hill, he was the son of the late William J. and Alice M. Devine (nee McClerno). John served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960. He was employed as a Pennsylvania State Trooper and retired in 1979. He also worked for the Tredyffrin Township Police Department, CID in Delaware County, PA and for Wackenhut Security, Inc. John was a life member and Past President of Garrettford-Drexel Hill Fire Company. Survivors: His sister Ann Donohue, his nephews and niece Joseph Donohue, William Donohue, Debbie Pitt and Michael Gowen. He was predeceased by his sister Alice Gowen and his brother William "Sonny" Devine.
