John McEntee Sr. Obituary
He was born in Philadelphia and was a longtime resident of Upper Darby and Springfield. Jack was an original member of St. Cyril of Alexandria Parish. He was a driver for Motor Freight Express and a member of Teamsters Local 107 for 35 years.
His passions were raising his children; enjoying his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and of course sports. He was an avid Phillies fan and Venango Bears football player.
Jack now joins his parents, Catherine and Harry; his brothers, Harry and James "Babe"; and his sister, Theresa in heaven.
Survivors: His wife of 69 years, Catherine (nee Rafferty) McEntee who now resides at Little Flower Manor; his daughter, Kathleen (Gene) Barbieri; his sons, Jack Jr. (Gerri), Bob (Pat), Gary (Lisa) and Ron (Marge); 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing/Service: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 3 followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church, Penn Blvd., E. Lansdowne, PA 19050.
Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple.
In lieu of flowers: The family would appreciate donations to Little Flower Manor, 1201 Springfield Road, Darby, PA 19023
Arrangements: O'Leary Funeral Home.

I'm so sorry for all of you in your loss of Uncle Jack. My favorite memory of him is him watching a sports game on tv, with a bottle of beer in his hand, arguing a play with our other uncle's that have passed on. His big smile and laugh are what I'll remember most about him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
