Joseph J. Floirendo, 73 Joseph J. Floirendo, 73, of Morton passed away on July 23, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Joe was the husband of Ruth F. Duffy Floirendo. Joe was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sporting events, taking them to Dutch Wonderland and was the former sports director of MISCO. As a retired Philadelphia Police Officer he was a member of the FOP and played softball and bowled for the 9th district 3rd squad. Survivors: Devoted wife, Ruthie Duffy. Loving father of Edward J. (Tracy) of Bensalem, Denise M. Dawson of Havertown, Rita S. Youngen of Virginia Beach, VA and Stephen J. (Veronica) of Secane. Grandfather of JD, Chris, Josh, Danny, Katie, Stevie Joe, Kristin, Elizabeth and Michael. Great grandfather of Carleigh and Jaxon. Dear cousin of Carol Fries Perry. Services: Friends are invited to Joe's Life Celebration Sunday, 6-9p.m. and Monday, 9-10:30a.m. at James F. Knoetgen of Morton, 746 Kedron Ave. (Rt. 420), followed by his funeral mass 11a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton.
