Joseph P. "Joe Sunshine" Guetter III, 90 Of Media, PA, formerly of Collingdale and Secane, PA Joseph P. "Joe Sunshine" Guetter III, 90, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Mr. Guetter was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving on the USS Tarawa as a Signalman during World War II. He was employed for 39 years with Sunshine Biscuit Company as a Salesman, retiring in 1987. Joe was a devoted family man who most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family. He was passionate about his garden and loved to share the plentiful vegetables with family and friends. Joe was known for his stories and his ability to make people laugh. Joe was the brother of the late Richard Guetter. Survivors: Beloved wife of 65 years Florence H. Guetter; loving son Joseph P. (Cecelia) Guetter IV of West Chester, PA; sisters Margaret (Thomas) Green and Elizabeth Curl; also survived by nieces and nephews. Memorial Service Thursday 12 Noon, at The Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown, Media, PA. Visitation Thursday after 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in memory of Joseph Guetter to American Memorial Processing Center, P.O.
