Joseph Simpson Obituary
Joseph Simpson, age 90, from Media, passed away on January 7, 2014. In his younger years, Joseph proudly served in the Army during World War II and later retired from the Post Office as a supervisor. He also retired as a maintenance man from Holly House where he resided. Predeceased by his 4 sisters Marie, Louise, Edie, and Olive.
Survivors: Wife, Sue Berue, son, Joseph T. (Sue) Simpson, daughter, Dawn (Tom) Berue, granddaughter, Becky Berue, sister, Winnie Straughn and grandchildren, Bethany (Bruce) Weaver, Daniel (Kaycee) Simpson and Timothy Simpson. Also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, from 9:30-10:30a.m., at Cavanagh-Patterson Family Funeral Home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave., Media, Pa., followed by his funeral service at 10:30a.m.
Burial: Media Cemetery, Media, Pa.
In lieu of flowers: Donations in Joseph's memory can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Sue, Becky and Dawn
My heart is with all of you in the loss of Joe. This picture is how I remember him and met him for the 1st time 3 years ago. He was so sweet and had the biggest smile. Whenever I came over to visit, I would go to his room, where he'd be resting, and say hello, and there was that smile!! It lit up the room. May you find peace in knowing that God has another angel and this one has the biggest smile of them all! Please know how much you mean to me and that I am here if you need an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. This is especially true for you Sue, my forever friend and "sister".
