After his military service, Leo worked in Aircraft Technician roles at Lockheed and then at TWA. Leo also loved to travel- visiting both Ireland and Sicily to meet his extended family.
He was a passionate football fan, supporting the Eagles, Cleveland Browns and Notre Dame. In 1963, he married his sweetheart Rosemary Moore at Holy Savior Church in Wilkes-Barre, PA and they were married for 50 happy years until Rosemary passed away on March 2, 2013.
