Born in Drexel Hill, he was the son of Gwendolyn Simpson Trusty and Gilbert L. Trusty of Media.
Survivors: Besides his parents, 3 children, Daryl Carlen of Philadelphia, Destiny Trusty of Brookhaven, Trevor Franklin of Media, sisters, Paulette Goolsby (Mike) of Media, and Paula Trusty of Folcroft, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Gilbert L. Trusty, Jr.
Services: Wednesday, July, 24th, 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, State and Lemon Streets, Media, PA
Viewing: Wednesday, July, 24th, 9-11:00 a.m. at the church
Interment: Private
Arrangements: Linda M. Townsend, Funeral Director, Delaware County.

The boys and I were coming today, but it just didn't turn out to be a good day for any of us. Our thoughts are with your family and Theresa during this time. Rich (20) was very upset that we didn't make it and said that Lewis was "like a father to him" because he spent time with him and talked to him.
To Lewis' family, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet and so sorry for your loss. Prayers!

I know there are no words to express the happiness that Wimpy brought to our world. This family has had a difficult time of it yet reminds us to love each other deeper each and everyday! I can almost hear him and Dewey cracking everyone up as I write this.
