Mamie Bond Obituary

Mamie K. Bond (nee Irving), 86 Mamie K. Bond (nee Irving), 86, of Media entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 29th while surrounded by her loving family. She received her early education at Chester Upland School district and was a graduate of Chester High School. She worked for the McClure Family for many, many years and was considered a part of the family. She also worked in the family business, McClure's Metal Company in Upland, Pennsylvania. She will be remembered as a loving mother. Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifford M. Bond Sr. and four sisters. Survivors: She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Clifford M. Bond Jr. (Lorraine) of Hardeeville, SC and Dane P. Bond of Media, PA; loyal brother, Lewis M. Hunt Irving (Vivian) of Thornton, PA; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services: Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services on Saturday, July 6, 2013, 11:00 AM, at Temple Baptist Church, 736 W. 7th St., Chester, PA. Viewing: Will take place from 9 to 11 AM, at the church. There will be no viewing following the eulogy. Interment: Haven Memorial Cemetery, Chester Twp.
