I met Rick in the 80's through work and kept in touch over the years. Rick was an amazing friend and always willing to help you with anything. He loved his family so much, and was so proud of all of you . Our talks always turned to his sons and how excited he was by each of your accomplishments, and where your lives were taking you. He will be missed by all who were privileged enough to know him, as I am sure, like me, he touched many lives with his sense of humor, and authenticity. Paige Matt and Tyler
Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for the loss of Ricky. He was like a big brother to me in those very impressionable high school years. He always had a way of getting Jean and I in trouble ( in a good fun way) but was the first to be there to stand up and protect us. My thoughts and prayers have been with you continuously since I got the news. Hold your sweet memories close as I know you will..they will sustain you through this very trying time.....With Love Joanne Hodge Balchunas
