Mr. Robert J. Brennan, age 79, of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
Born in Chester, PA, on August 31, 1932, Mr. Brennan was the son of the late Thomas and Sadie Brennan. He proudly and honorably served his country in the US Army during the
. Mr. Brennan worked for the Boeing Corporation as a sheet metal worker and retired from the Ridley Park, PA facility after many years of dedicated service.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edith M. Brennan, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Mr. Brennan is survived by his children, Deborah Braxton (Clarence), Susan Reams, Peggy Sullivan (Brian), and Jennifer Mariner (Dan); 12 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, DE, where visitation will begin at 2 pm. Interment will be held privately.
