I always loved hearing your old timer fire stories from the many years that you spent in the fire service. Those alone made every Rose Tree Fire Company meeting worth going to. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that you will be greatly missed. Rest in peace brother.

Rocky (& Jean) sent food & goody parcels to me and my family when I was 6, & met him first 12 years later & treasure his pearls of christian wisdom mixed with dry wit and extraordinary sacrificial generosity. God Bless

I was fortunate to work with Rocky at Campbells Arco as a teenager.Rocky's kindness,gentleness,work ethic and dedication to his community set an example that influenced me far more than I was able to realize as a young man.Rocky's blood drive phone calls to me in recent years always brought a smile...."Dave,it's Rocky the vampire calling." As I know from my father's passing away in May last year, once the emotional impact of realizing you're never going to see a loved one on earth again subsides, happiness from life memories of wonderful parents and anticipation of re-uniting in heaven someday take over. I feel these are God's most precious gifts.

Our church has been so fortunate to have active members like Rocky and of course Jean. They have been role models for all of us. Their daughters and extended family should be proud of the wonderful care they provided! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am a better person for having known Rocky. What an amazing man and a true gentleman. I worked with him on the blood drives at Rose Tree Fire Co for the last 7 years....he was always a joy to be with and always wanted to help his community in any way possible. He will be missed.
