Sara Conran Obituary

Sara (nee Erisman) Conran, 92 Sara (nee Erisman) Conran, 92, died January 4, 2014 at her home in Drexel Hill. Sara was born and raised in Philadelphia. She was a very busy woman raising her 8 children. She was an artist and taught art in a private school in Philadelphia, in the early 1950's. Sara was a devoted Republican and served as a Republican Committee woman for many years in Broomall and also worked at the Media Courthouse. Her Catholic faith was very important to her and she was a member of St. Bernadette Parish in Drexel Hill. She loved gardening, caring for her pets and was an avid reader, especially history related books. In her later years, she was a certified caregiver at Dunwoody Nursing Home and also did private duty care and blessed many lives with her tender care. She did this well into her eighty's! She was a very active person and had many friends, but most important, was her love for her family. She is predeceased by her son, Clinton O. Price, daughter-in-law, Sondra Price, a brother Robert W. Erisman and Sister Loretta Jane Olsen. Survivors: She is survived by her Children; William D. (Laura) Price, Jr, Loretta J. Kier, Susan J. (John) Deininger, Verona E. (Thomas) Taylor, Linda A. (Charles) Keough, Sara B. (David) Hutchings and John D. (Lee Ann) Conran; 30 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren & 5 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass: Friday, January 10, 2014, 10:30a.m., Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA Visitation: Friday morning, 9:30a.m. in the Church Burial: SS.
