Vera A. Crowley, 69 Vera A. Crowley, 69, of Manheim, Pa, formerly of Linwood went to be with her creator on March 30, 2014. She was born in Chester to Thomas and Doris Watkins where she was raised and educated. Vera was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, Pa. She worked as a bank teller for many years and also worked as a nurse in the office of Dr. Stankiewicz. Vera was an active volunteer for many organizations. She was active in the Linwood Youth Center; She was a great supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project as well as organizing and participating in the in support of breast cancer research. She also volunteered and supported Native American organizations and schools. Vera was member of the board of elections in Lebanon, Pa. What she enjoyed most, however, was time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Watkins. Survivors: Her Husband of 48 years, Thomas Crowley; Daughter, Doris McQuiston (William); Sons, Keith and Tommy; Grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna, Colin, Samantha; great-grandchildren, Shane, Layla and Ryan; Many friends who she considered family. Services: Her memorial service will be celebrated on Friday, April 4th, 11:30a.m., at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 10a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Will be private.
