Wilhelmina Saunders Obituary

Wilhelmina Saunders, 92 quietly went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Nettie Delaware. She was born in Bryn Mawr, PA. Wilhelmina moved to Chester as a young lady and resided in Chester, PA for over 80 years. She worked at Kimberly Clark, formerly known as Scott Paper Co., for 22 years, before retiring. She loved and enjoyed her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and opening up her home for holiday dinners. She was pre-deceased by her husband George Saunders; her sisters Gertrude Reasons, Mary Floyd, Bertha Jacobs and Christine Jacobs; foster-siblings Clarence Jacobs and Estella Richardson; son Gary K. Saunders. Survivors: She leaves to cherish her memory foster-siblings Ada Richardson and Benny Wright; 4 grandchildren - James T. Saunders, Jeanine L. Saunders, Terrell B. Saunders and Cynitha N. Saunders; a host of many nieces and nephews; cousins and close friends of the family. Service Friday October 19, 2012 at 10 AM at Hunt Irving Funeral Home, 2500 Concord Rd., Chester Twp., PA 19013. Viewing 8 to 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment Haven Memorial Cemetery, Chester Twp., PA. Arr: Hunt Irving Funeral Home Condolences: [email protected]

Mrs. Saunders was my supervisor for my first job out of high school at Scott Paper Co (1976), "Willie" as we called her taught me much about work ethic and left a lasting impression on me through the years, my condolences to her family, I will never forget her.
