William A. (Al) Wooters of Hacks Point, Maryland, formerly of Marcus Hook, PA on March 22nd in his daughter's home in Newark, DE, in Al's words, "Threw a Seven."|
He was born on June 15th, 1929 to the late Watson and Jessie.
He was raised on Willow Street in Boothwyn, PA with his siblings, Wilbert, Mary, Wayne and Bucky, all of whom are deceased.
He enjoyed sharing his adventures as a young boy.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Flossie and their children, Kit, Billy and Pam. Al was a proud 57-year voting member of the Operating Engineer Local 542, retiring in 1991.
He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Al was a dedicated family man and friend, always quick with a joke.
He is survived by his daughter, Robin and her husband Thomas A. Kinsler; grandchildren William, Bonnie, Tammy (Matt) and Tom(Theresa); great-grandchildren, Jessica, Dylan, Watson, Meadow and Autumn.
His funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 27th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA 19061.
Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning from 10-11 a.m.
Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
