Albert L. Siekierski Obituary
Albert L. "Al Shay" Siekierski, 83 Retired Boeing Employee Albert L. "Al Shay" Siekierski, 83, passed away peacefully at home with family on July 27, 2012. Born and raised in Chester, Mr. Siekierski as the son of the late Antoni and Helen Siekierski. He was a 1947 Chester High School graduate and received his degree in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State College. He proudly served in our United States Army during the Korean War. He resided in Aston for 49 years. A 43 year employee, Mr. Siekierski retired from Boeing in 1992. He was a lifetime member of St. Hedwig Church. Mr. Siekierski was an avid bowler. Known as Al Shay, he bowled a 299 in 1967. He was inducted in to the DELCO Old Times Organization of Bowling Hall of Fame in 1983. When he was not bowling, Mr. Siekierski enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years Marie A. Siekierski who died in 2010; son John A. Siekierski; brother Edwin Siekierski. Survivors: Daughter Lisa D. Maysky (Eugene) of Trainer; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Helen Siekierski of Brookhaven; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Mass 10 AM Saturday St. Hedwig Church, 4th & Hayes Sts., Chester. Burial Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Lower Chichester. Visitation after 7 PM Friday and 8 to 9 AM Saturday at the Kaniefski-Kendus-D'Anjolell Memorial Home, 3900 West 9th St,. Trainer. Arr: Kaniefski-Kendus-D'Anjolell Memorial Home
