Alice Fahey Durbano, 91, Alice Fahey Durbano, 91, passed away on March 7th 2013 at Linden Hall Retirement home in Kennett Square. She was raised on her family's farm in Kennett Township and moved to Delaware after her marriage to John Durbano who preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by her devoted cousins, as well as her extended family and friends. Alice attended St. Patrick's Elementary School, graduated from Kennett High School in the Class of 1939, and continued her education at Goldey Business School in Wilmington. She worked as a legal secretary for Hercules, Inc. and as an executive secretary for All American Engineering Company. After her retirement she performed volunteer work for A.I. DuPont Institute. While living in Wilmington, she was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Church and later at St. Ann's. She enjoyed music, dancing and socializing with friends at the Jewish Community Center. Alice was admired by everyone she met for her warm heart, good humor, and gratitude for the simplest gesture. She was lovingly cared for by the staffs of Linden Hall and Willow Tree Hospice. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 212 Meredith St., Kennett Square, PA 19348, 10:00AM, Thursday, March 14th followed by inurnment at St. Patrick Cemetery. You are invited to visit with her family from 8:30AM to 9:30AM before the service at Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA 19348. In lieu of flowers:, contributions are suggested in Alice's memory to St. Patrick Church, 205 Lafayette St. Kennett Square PA 19348.
