Aubert G. Schwartz

Schwartz, Aubert G. (Bert) of Media, Pa. was born in Chicago and died peacefully on June 10, 2016 at 82. Survived by his son, Daniel Schwartz; his daughter; and siblings Melvin G. Schwartz and Diane R. Trees; pre-deceased by his parents, Frank H. Schwartz and Maryann (Alberts) Schwartz, and his brother, Robert J. Schwartz. Bert graduated from Malvern Preparatory School and Drexel University, and served in the Guided Missile Branch of the US Army. He was a certified Special Olympics Alpine Ski coach and official and also enjoyed the role of historian, conducting tours at colonial sites including Christ Church Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service at 10:00 am on June 20, 2016 at Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Bert’s name can be made to Special Olympics Pennsylvania, 2570 Blvd. of the Generals, Suite 124, Norristown, Pennsylvania 19403.
