Carol Ann Farrell Obituary
Carol Ann Farrell, 76 Carol A. Farrell, 76, a resident of Lennox Park, Trainer, Pa., passed away on December 27, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born and raised in Chester, Pa., Carol was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Ann Malinowski. She was also preceded in death by her son, William R. Farrell, Jr., her grandson, Mark Farrell, Jr., and her granddaughter, Stephanie L. Farrell. Carol graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, Pa., and Our Lady of Angels College in Aston, Pa. It was there that she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Student Designed Elementary Education. Carol was a dedicated educator for 45 years and was passionate about making a difference in the lives of her students. She was an active member of the St. Hedwig's Our Lady of Fatima Sodality. Upon retiring from teaching at Holy Savior-SJF School, she continued to work part time as a librarian. Carol loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Survivors: Her daughter, Sharon Farrell Verone of Bear, Del.; her sons, Joseph J. Farrell, Sr. (Kelly) of Lennox Park, Trainer, Pa.; and Mark W. Farrell Sr., (Regina) of Boothwyn, Pa.; and her brother, Robert Malinowski, (Dorothy) of Aston, Pa.; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services: The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2014, from 9:30 to 11:30a.m., at Holy Savior Roman Catholic Church, 108 E. Ridge Road, Linwood, Pa. 19061. A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held after visitation at 11:30a.m. Further services and Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
