Carole L. Seery McCarthy of Swedesboro, NJ died on July 11, 2013 at her home. |
Born in Philadelphia, she lived in Aston before moving to her late residence in 2007. Carole was an Executive Secretary at Neumann University and previously worked for Sunroc and PNB. She was a graduate of Interboro High School and attended Goldey Beacom College.
A selfless person, Carole was devoted to Neumann and loved going to work and helping others. She earned the Francis/Clare Award in 2006.
Carole enjoyed going to the Delaware shore and was a passionate mother who also loved opening her home for family and friends.
Carole was wife of the late F. Lee Seery who died in 2003.
Survivors: her husband Dennis J. McCarthy, whom she married in 2007; her son Dale J. Jacobs (Bridget); stepson Bryan D. McCarthy; mother Virginia Adams MacVeigh (Edward Mandl); brother John J. MacVeigh, IV (Bianca); her nephew John J. MacVeigh,V and her granddog Marla Pooch.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014.
Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery.
