Charles J. " Carty " Cartisano Loving husband and father Charles J. " Carty " Cartisano, age 53, died suddenly on February 28, 2013, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Charles was a lifelong resident of the City of Chester. He was a 1976 graduate of St. James High School, and attended Widener University and Delaware County Community College. A longtime employee of the Chester Water Authority, Charles was formerly employed by the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and the Chester - Upland School District. Charles was a devoted and loving grandfather to London, who he enjoyed spending time with and spoiling. He spent many happy vacations with his family at the Jersey shore. He was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed his many motorcycle trips with friends. He was the son of the late S. James Cartisano. Survivors: his loving wife of 28 years Barbara ( nee Shaw ) Cartisano, his two loving daughters Cristie Wooters ( Jeramie ) and Barbara Jean Cartisano ; also surviving are his mother Anna ( nee Morley ) Cartisano, his two sisters Catherine Byrnes and Linda Cartisano and his grandchildren London and Colin Wooters. Visitation: Monday, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm., at the Nolan Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Avenue, Aston and on Tuesday, from 9:45 to 10:45 am., at St. Katharine Drexel R.C. Church, 1920 Providence Avenue, Chester. Funeral Mass: Tuesday at 11:00 am. at St. Katharine Drexel. Burial: St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Glen Mills.
