Daniel Copper Obituary

Daniel F. Copper, 71, of Glenolden, passed away Friday June 24, 2011, at Delaware County Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Copper was born in Philadelphia to the late Daniel and Ester Pursley Copper.
Daniel was a retired foreman/laborer for Danella Construction Co. and a member of Laborers' Local 57. Mr. Copper loved his summer trailer and fishing with the Miss. Chris fishing fleet out of Cape May, N.J. He also enjoyed bowling.
He was the beloved husband of 48 loving years to Joan M. (Bracken) Copper.
Daniel was predeceased by his brother Harry.
Survivors: His children, Joan Asbury (Wayne) of Sharon Hill, Carolyn Braciszewski (Billy) of Philadelphia and Daniel Jay Copper (Tara); brother, Bob Copper; sisters, Ester Beckley, Fran Smith and Bert Sherman; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Service & Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29 in the Marvil Funeral Home, 1110 Main St., Darby, PA 19023. Friends may call after 10 a.m.
Burial: Private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Daniel's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1615 West Chester Pike, Ste. 101, West Chester, PA 19382 would be appreciated by his family.
