Rest on Guapo. I think today I will play some MJB and reminisce on the songs we use to listen and sing along to. I haven't been practicing my harp but I will so I can play ribbon in the sky. My dedication to you. Love you man. May God continue to cover and protect your family.

Good morning. Just saw your puc and was reminded of your passing. This world is cruel is getting worse. Continue to rest Derrick. Hey, I purchased a harp and I'm teaching myself to play it. Ironically, I have mastered hiw to play Ribbon in the Sky. I'm sure in some funny way, you had something to do with that. Well just had to send out a message of remembrance. God continue to watch over your family while you rest. Love you always.

I remember the day we met in 1997 like it was yesterday and that was the start of an unbreakable bond. It's been one year since you've been gone and I want you to know that I will never forget you Derrick. Life took us in different directions but you've always held a special place in my heart and I truly regret losing contact with you. I wish I had tried harder. I just had to write to say how much I miss you and to rest easy. We are all doing fine and God has his hand of protection over us. You popped in my mind as I listened to a gospel song and all can see us your smile. I thought about how you remembered my mom kicking us out her sewing studio when I totally forgot. I miss her too. My Condolences to the Brown, Santana and Foster family. We never know how much a person impacts our lives until a life is taken. Derrick has impacted me and my family's life in such a way we can't explain. Derrick entrusted me with his daughter Gabbrielle and allowed me to grandmother her as if she is my own flesh, his love for my grandson Gaven left me speachless. He cared for my granddaughter Dreame' with the love of a true uncle, protected my daughters as if they were his own sisters, and the love for Bianca was extraordinary. That takes a special person with a heart that is only motivated by peace and love. My heart is broken, but it will be healed by all the funny things Derrick said and did. He always said Ms Shea, I know the 23rd Psalm and He qouted "the Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want" and Derrick, you are correct, He is our Shepherd and you now want for nothing. You will be deeply missed by us. I thank God for allowing you to share your life with us. Bianca you are the daughter I did not birth, but you fit right in with the others, I thank God for hand picking you to be the mother of my grandchildren. Bianca I myself sat where you sit today.Cry as long as you need to, you have that right, but I ask you to remember this, when healing want to come in, in the form of memories welcome them because it is a gift from God that only he can give, recieve the beautiful memories that you shared with Derrick, they have healing in them, especially the ones that make you laugh, they are medicine for the heart. I love so much, I want you to know that you yourself have an impacted my life. By the way, I hope you haven't forgoten I'm still stalking you for my pictures, our private joke, a little bit of medicine just to get the healing started,I love you and my heart goes out to you, I will always be there for you and the children, Love Ms Shea and the Crews family.
