Donald "Hamm" Eugene Hammond, 71 Of Chester, PA Donald "Hamm" Eugene Hammond, 71, passed Thursday, July 7, 2011, in Riddle Memorial Hospital.Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Dr. Harold Eugene Hammond and Mildred Woodland Hammond. Mr. Hammond was a 1957 graduate of Media High School. While in high school he started working at the Media Post Office and stayed until retirement. He was pre-deceased by his sister Helen Jeanette Sullivan.Survivors: Son Gregory Keith Hammond of Chester, PA; daughter Joy Lynn Hammond-Toler (Douglass) of New Castle, DE; 1 grandchild Cameron Toler. Service: Saturday July 16th at 10 AM at Campbell A.M.E. Church, 3rd & Olive St., Media, PA Visitation: Saturday, July 16th 8 to 10 AM at church. Interment: Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Goshen, PA Arr: Linda M. Townsend, Funeral Director, Delaware County
