1931 – 2015 Dorothy Mae Carter Atkins {Nee Coleman} passed on May 25, 2015 at Crozer Hospice at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Pa. Dorothy was born in Chester, Pa. and was a graduate of the Chester Schools. Before her retirement, she was employed as a nurse’s aid at St. Francis Country House in Darby, Pa. Widow of Melvin Atkins, the beautiful memory of Dorothy’s life will remain here in the hearts of her daughters Valerie Thomas, Donna Gooche {Curtis}, Sheila Atkins, and Rosie Stowbridge {Leroy}, 5 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 2 special friends Bertha and Roger, many other relatives and friends. Service: Thursday June 4 , 2015 10:00am at Earl L. Foster Funeral Home 1100 Kerlin St. Chester, Pa. Viewing: 8:00 am – 10:00 am. No viewing after the eulogy.
