Edward A. Zalewski Sr.

Edward A. Zalewski Sr. Devoted father and grandfather Edward A. Zalewski Sr., 61, of Folsom, died suddenly October 8, 2011 at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland. Edward was born and raised in Chester and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era. He was a welder by trade and worked with both Sun and Penn Ship Building until their closing. Most recently, Ed worked for R.S. Fabricators in Wilmington, DE. Edward was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles as well as a collector of all sports memorabilia. He also enjoyed doing the puzzles found in the paper. Mostly, Ed loved spending time with his family, especially his 6 children and 3 grandchildren. He was the son of the late Joseph and Erminia (Ragni) Zalewski, husband of the late Mary Anne (Vilanova) Zalewski, brother of the late Joseph Zalewski Jr. and Andrew Zalewski. Survivors: Loving children Daniel Felker of Linwood, Heather Feathers (Edward) of Glenolden, Ryan Zalewski(Tyna) of Folsom, Krystal Zalewski of Chester, Edward Zalewski Jr. of Glenolden and Danielle Zalewski of Folsom; grandchildren Serenity, Daniel, and Da' Sean; siblings Mary Wagoner(Denzil), Rose Glover (Bob), Victor Zalewski (Darlene), Emidio Zalewski and Steven Zalewski; a dear sister-in-law Barbara Zalewski.
