Elaine Hill Thomas Reavely Elaine Hill Thomas Reavely, joined the heavenly host on August 12, 2012 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Mrs. Reavely was born and raised in Chester, PA, where she graduated from the public schools. For the last two years Elaine worked as a day care attendant for DCIU Headstart. Previously she worked for the Foster Grandparent Program. Elaine was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church in Philadelphia where she was a member of the usher board. She was an avid reader and loved to watch track and field and basketball. Mrs. Reavely was always on the go, still driving her car on I-95. Mrs. Reavely was the widow of Emmett Reavely who died in February 2008. She was predeceased by her parents Norman Hill and Mary Johnson Hill Clagon, her brother Sunnie Powell and her son James Nelson Thomas. Survivors: She leaves to cherish her memory 3 sons Lawrence L. Thomas, Byron J. Thomas, and Emmett D. Thomas; 3 daughters Carolyn Riley (James Faust), Patricia A. Thomas, and Mary N. Nixon (Richard); 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Service Saturday August 18, 2012 10 AM at True Fellowship Bible Church, 614 W. 8th St. Viewing 8 to 10 AM at the church. No viewing after the eulogy.
