Elsie Bechtold Obituary

Elsie E. (nee Groschupf) Bechtold, of Media Elsie E. (nee Groschupf) Bechtold, age 85, on June 24, 2013, wife of the late Robert P. Elsie was most happy being involved in family activities and was very generous to family and friends. She enjoyed baking (she was famous for her cinnamon buns), knitting, flowers, vacations in Ocean City, NJ. She was a member of several church committees during her 42 year membership in the Middletown Presbyterian Church and she was active in the Granite Farm community. Survivors: Devoted mother of Robert P., Jr. (Susan), Glenn (Sally), and Gary (Susan). Also survived by her grandchildren, Robert, Kevin, Alison Ebling (Sean), and Adam, her step- grandchildren, Stacey Smith and Eric Baker, her step-great grandchildren, Ramsey and Sophia Smith, and many dear friends. Funeral Service: Thursday, 11:00 AM, in the Middletown Presbyterian Church, 273 Old Middletown Road, Elwyn, 19063. Viewing: 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the Church. Burial: Philadelphia Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers: donations to the above church.
