Florence Deborah {nee Grasty} "Debbie" Thomas, 58 Florence Deborah (nee Grasty) "Debbie" Thomas, age 58, of Silver Spring, Maryland, formerly of Chester, Pa. joined the Heavenly Host on February 25. 2013 at The Kensington Nursing and Rehabilitation in Kensington, Maryland. Debbie was born in Chester, Pa. to the late James Grasty and Lola Douglas Grasty, and was a graduate of Chester High School. She attended Juniata College where she studied early education and worked as a self employed child care provider. Debbie was a member of Providence Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Debbie was also pre-deceased by her uncle and aunt who raised her James and Esther Dennis, her son: Sean Edward Thomas and 1 brother. Survivors: Her beautiful memory will be cherished by her loving husband Louis E. Thomas, sons: Paul-Louis Thomas (Keisha), and Douglas Thomas (Ashley), siblings: Janice Karen "Kook" Grasty, Azel Wendell Grasty, Nasir "Potsie" Jihad (Kim), Kenneth "Pougie" Grasty, Tyressa "Ressie" Grasty, and Alvin Grasty, 6 grandchildren, father-in-law - James Williams, Jr., many other relatives and friends. Service: Wednesday March 6. 2013 11:00 am at Providence Baptist Church 1100 W. 2nd St. Chester. Viewing: 9:00 - 11:00 am. No viewing after the eulogy.
