Herman A. Miah Obituary
Herman A. Miah, 64, Stinson Towers' Employee Herman A. Miah, 64, of Chester, PA departed this life on September 5, 2012 at Taylor Hospital. Born in Chester, he graduated from Immaculate Heart of Mary School, and later attended St. James High School where he was a star player on the School's football team, graduating in 1966. He was previously employed at Scott Paper Company until he relocated to Chicago, IL. He eventually returned to Chester, and was employed, part-time, as a door monitor at Stinson Towers. He is pre-deceased by his father Harris Miah and his brother Hasson Miah. Survivors: Mother, Anna L. Miah of Chester, two daughters, Kathy Miah of Chester, and Sinda Washington of Chicago, IL, one brother, Leroy Miah of Chester (Shirley), three sisters, Melva Conquest and Karen Tyler (Harry), both of Brookhaven, Linda Jenifer of Chester and six grandchildren. Service: Family and friends are invited to Funeral services Wednesday, Sept. 12, 11:00 a.m., Temple Baptist Church, 736 W. 7th Street, Chester, A viewing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 am at the Church.
