Lawrence H. "Larry" Callahan Lawrence H. "Larry" Callahan passed away after a long illness on June 23, 2014. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 18, 1926. He graduated from North Catholic High School prior to enlisting in the army where he served in the Philippines during World War II in Leyte and Cebu. For 25 years he worked as a salesman at Loughead Pontiac and Nissan in Swarthmore, PA, retiring in 1991. He especially liked spending time with his family watching TV, reading, golfing and doing crossword puzzles. He was predeceased by his son Lawrence. Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Alice (nee Burke); his children Edward (Dolores), Kathleen McNeely (John) and Stephen (Ann Marie); Daughter-in-Law, Suelynn Callahan; 11 grandchildren Colleen, Karen, Kara, Alyssa, Catherine, Chelsea, Sarah, John, Joseph, Mary and Stephen and great granddaughter Alana. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 9:30a.m., followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton, PA.
