Lillian Winter Obituary

Lillian L. (nee Lee) Winter, 86 Lillian L. Winter, 86, a longtime resident of Clifton Heights, died March 10, 2011 at Broomall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Ms. Winter was born in Mt. Sinai, NY.She was formerly employed by Infant Jesus School in Port Jefferson, NY as a librarian and at St. Anthony's High School in Smithtown, NY as an attendance officer. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Mrs. Winter enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family. She loved her dog Minnie. Beloved wife of the late Theodore Martin who died in 1996; mother of the late Martin Winter. Survivors: Loving mother of James (Wendy) Winter and Judith (Jerry) DePompeo; also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, June (Robert) Treise. Service: 10 AM Tuesday at St. Mark Lutheran Church 436 N. Oak Ave., Clifton Hts., PA, 19018 Visitation: 7 - 9 PM Monday and 8:30 AM Tuesday, Williams-Lombardo Funeral Home, Baltimore & Summit Aves., Clifton Hts. Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, at the above address or Broomall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 50 N. Malin Rd. Aunt Lil was tolerant and patient, yet very straight forward. I admired that in her. She was so supportive when my father (her brother) passed away when we were very young. She was also very loving to my sisters and myself. She gave alot of love. May she rest in peace.
