Mary-Ellen Claire Bradley, 80, Mary-Ellen Claire Bradley, 80, a longtime resident of Ridley Park, died March 15, 2013 at the Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Upper Darby, Mrs. Bradley lived in Woodlyn and Collingdale prior to moving to Ridley Park in 1959. Mary-Ellen was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1951 and received a B.S. in Chemistry from Penn State University. Mary-Ellen had been employed as a Medical Technician at Crozer-Chester Medical Center for 10 years, retiring in 1995, and had previously worked at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was a member of the Ridley Park Seniors and The Church of St. Madeline where she was also a member of Sodality. Mary-Ellen was active with the Ridley Park Athletic Club where she initiated the bowling travel league, she also loved her cats and the Phillies. She was daughter of the late Albert G. and Dorothy Smith Claire. Survivors: her children; Dorothy E. Trefz (Robert), Albert A. Bradley (Lin), Jack Bradley, III (Holly), Claire J. Casey (Chris) and Charles J. Bradley (Maureen), also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
