Richard S. Posey Obituary
Richard S. Posey Retired Landscaper, Army Veteran Richard S. Posey, of the Twin Oaks Section of Aston, PA, departed this life on Saturday, November 30, 2013 peacefully at home after a brief illness. He was born to Jesse M. Posey and Mary Agnes (Austin) Posey on April 27, 1949. He attended Chichester Schools, and soon after was drafted into the U.S. Army, from which he was honorably discharged. He was joined in marriage in August of 1982 to Jone W. Posey. Survivors: He leaves behind 3 daughters, Trena and Tammy Bruton, Takina Stewart and 5 sons, Richard Granberry, Richard Posey, Tyron Granberry, DeShawn McIntyre and Rahmir Posey. 3 sisters, Barbara (Posey) Oliver, Jacqueline Posey-Nelson and Denise Peterson. Two nephews Jared Oliver and Naheem Posey. A surviving Aunt, Catherine (Posey) Barber, 1 daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Manco) Posey, 1 brother-in-law, Calvin Nelson Sr., 15 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation: 10 a.m.-Noon, Saturday at Temple Baptist Church. Service: Family and friends are invited to Funeral Services at 12:00 (Noon), Saturday, December 7, 2013, Temple Baptist Church, 7th and Butler Sts., Chester, PA 19013 Burial: is Private for immediate family only.
