Robert Marsch Obituary

Robert W. "Bobby" Marsch II, 65 Of Media Robert W. "Bobby" Marsch II, 65, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 with his loving family by his side. Bobby served in the U.S. Army 5th Special Forces Group during the Vietnam War. He was a Graduate of Msgr. Bonner High School Class of 1964 and Temple University. He was a retired employee of Multi Flex Plating Company with over 35 years of service as a manager. Bobby was an avid gardener, motorcyclist and nature enthusiast. He enjoyed vacationing in the Florida Keys, New Orleans Jazz Festival, sailing and spending time with family and friends. He was the son of the late Robert W. Marsch. Survivors: His wife Sarah Ann "Sally"; children Robert T. and Stephen A.; mother Philomena (Gaspare) of Collingdale; sister Adel Stevens (Ercel) of Damascus, MD; one niece; 3 nephews; 3 great-nieces; 2 two great- nephews. Funeral service: 10 AM Thursday at Nativity B.V.M. Church, Franklin & Monroe Sts., Media Calling at the Church 9 to 10 AM. Interment Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Evanfest, PO. Box 5363, West Chester, PA 19380 or to the Upper Darby Marine Corp League, P.O. Box 2600, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Mrs Marsch, Sally, Robert ,Stephen, Adel, we are so sorry for your great loss. Bobby will be missed by so many. He was always laughing. Never saw a frown on his face. To this day we can't listen to Jethro Tull without thinking of Bobby. God Bless you all.

Aside from being a great friend to my parents you were one of the coolest cats I know. To this day I can not hear a Fleetwood Mac song and not think of you and all the great times we had hanging out up the Mountains.
