Ron DeGregorio Obituary
Ron DeGregorio, 76, of Glen Mills, PA died peacefully March 1, 2013.
Born in South Philadelphia and raised in Upper Darby, Ron was a graduate of West Catholic High School and St. Joseph's College. He went on to have a fulfilling 36 year career at PECO where he was proud to work his way through the ranks from lineman to human resources.
Ron was a veteran of the United States Army and a 20-year member of the Manoa American Legion Post 0667. He thoroughly enjoyed his time spent at his home in the Villages, FL. He loved to travel, the beach and warm weather. Ron loved riddles and was a master at solving them. He appreciated art and was a wonderful artist himself.
Ronnie never had a bad thing to say about anyone, had a huge heart and could always find the positive in a situation. Uncle Ronnie always made it a point to shake your hand and ask your name and he never forgot it. Ronnie was a happy, fun loving guy who enjoyed life and adored his wife!
Ron is predeceased by his father Hank Harrison and his son Tommy DeGregorio.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Irene Luttrell DeGregorio, his mother Lucy Harrison, sons Ronald DeGregorio and Kevin Luttrell, daughters Caron (Marc) Francy, Stacie (Joe) Credendino, Laura (Chris) Herbener, Teri DeGregorio, Renee (Joe) Cisco and Joanmaire (Steven) Reisen, his Goddaughter Liz Lanciano Carlson, 15 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandaughter and countless friends.
Visitation: Monday evening 6-8:00 p.m. at the D'Anjolell-Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord Rd., Aston, Pa. 19014 and Tuesday after 8:30 a.m. at St. Cornelius Church 160 Ridge Rd. Chadds Ford, Pa.19317.
Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment: Sts. Peter & Paul cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl Memphis, TN 38105 or Trustees of the University of PA c/o The Transplant House 3535 Market St. Phila., PA 19104
