Rosalie W. Harrington, 91 A longtime resident of Ridley Park Rosalie W. Harrington, 91, died on October 7, 2012 at her residence. Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Walker. Mrs. Harrington was a resident of Ridley Park for 63 years. She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed baking and cooking in her kitchen and was known for her great deserts. She was an active member with the Ridley Park Seniors, and went on many of their bus trips to various destinations. She was a member of St. Madeline Catholic Church in Ridley Park and was a member at one time of Sodality at the church. She is the wife of the late George M. Harrington Sr., who died in 1999. Survivors: Her daughter Gael Harrington Eyler; her son George M. Harrington Jr.; her 6 grandchildren; her 11 great-grandchildren; And her 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 12th at 10 AM at St. Madeline Catholic Church, Penn Street & Morton Ave., in Ridley Park. Visitaton will be on Friday after 9 AM at the church. Burial will be in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery in Marple Township.
